Kentucky Lake Engagement

Kentucky Lake is a special place for Lacie and Walker, and we loved that they wanted to take engagement pictures there! This session was perfect - a picnic by the lake and an air mattress pillow fight, followed by a walk on the beach at sunset, it was absolutely beautiful.

The picnic was complete with fresh tulips picked from Tulip Lane, sandwiches adorned with pearl toothpicks and a beautiful cake celebrating the future bride and groom. Kentucky Dam Village, located on Kentucky Lake, was the perfect peaceful location for this sweet session.

We were so excited when Lacie and Walker wanted to take photos on an air mattress in the lake! The water was still a little too cold, but that didn’t matter because they stayed dry and cozy floating on the mattress. Of course, this wouldn’t be complete without a pillow fight!

The sun was starting to set so we headed over to the beach which is a special place for Lacie and Walker. We loved capturing photos there because we know it will be mean a lot to them now and in the future. The sunset glow was stunning and the moon was the perfect addition to the background.
